Recap Cultivation for Compound Internal Event; Sharing Experiences & Learning About the Latest Insights of the Industry
Published on 21/01/2025
Last Wednesday, the Cultivation for Compounds (CfC) consortium gathered to experience an afternoon filled with learning and chatting! The CfC partners could attend both in-person and online, therefore, people joined from North-America, India, South-Africa, and Europe!
The CfC hosts several events each year, this particular event was focused on market developments in the recreational and medical space. The presentations and discussions were very interesting to attend! Bart Janssen from Brightlabs shared with the audience about the Process of Testing for Microbials on Cannabis Flowers. His presentation was followed by Market Developments in North-America, presented by Jocelyn Prefontaine from Twister, and Navigating Mexican Cannabis Regulations, presented by Mariana Larrea from MLA. We also had company introductions by Yogesh Jhamtani from Buffalo Extraction Systems and Camille Hanna from Skytree.

As can be seen in the photo below, recently Skytree placed one of their cumulus direct air capture units at Vertify, supplying the compartments with CO2. After the system will be used for the cultivation, an interview with the team of Skytree will be conducted and published, where we will discuss among others, their system, benefits to the cultivation, and future goals.
Therefore, make sure to stay tuned for the recent news about CfC events, the consortium and its partners.
