Cultivators look back on a successful GreenTech 2023

Published on 22/06/2023

GreenTech 2023 delivered on its promise to be the largest and most impactful conference for the horticulture industry. With over 700 exhibitors, people from around the globe visited Amsterdam to gain knowledge, do business, and expand their network. Cultivators was there, present as both exhibitors and speakers.

The Cultivators team was well represented on stage with talks from Pim Molenaars, Tim van Hissenhoven, and Kjell Sneeuw. Also, a major role for Sonny Moerenhout, who moderated the Plant Compound Stage for the entirety of GreenTech. Pim was part of the discussion panel on Smart Farming and Resource Management. Kjell gave a sneak peek into the medicinal cannabis research being done at the Cultivation for Compounds consortium. Tim captivated the audience with his talk on Developments and Challenges in the lettuce, leafy greens, and herbs market.

A separate invite-only event hosted by Sonny was held for the partners in the #CfCconsortium at the Atrium Stage. The session started with a presentation by Sonny and Jeroen Sanders from Vertify. After that, every partner gave a short presentation on their activities within the consortium. Each partner was allowed to invite guests, a great opportunity for education and networking! Afterwards, Sonny was interviewed for the Hortibiz Daily radio program.

To conclude our presence at GreenTech we announced a collaboration together with Dominique van Gruisen between Cultivators and Innexo. Together, we will put forward operational excellence training sessions. In these sessions, we will combine theory on cannabis cultivation with the opportunity to put that knowledge into practice. This provides a unique opportunity for attendees to practice their acquired knowledge of cannabis plants. More information will follow, so make sure to follow us on social media.
